




While at the Field Museum the other day I fell in love with some Native American Prints by artists such as Stan Greene, Joe David, Bill Reid and Roy Henry Vickers. I was not previously aware of this style of illustration (pictured above) but it really reminded me of the Nordic inspired illustration of
Sanna-Annukka (pictured below). Even more inspiring were the hundreds of masks they had on display. I'm thinking that a mask inspired poster series is in order. I love the colors and the simplicity.
That Haida art is fantastically good. I'm a big fan...
